Commissions will be on a bit of a delay...As I said, I am heading to Los Angeles tomorrow morning for work.
Work as a freelance character designer for Disney's Phineas and Ferb.
So yeah, commissions will be a little bit delayed again, sorry guys! But I will try to get some done on the train, promise! A big thank you goes to all of my friends who believed I could get something this big, and for all of my watchers who supported me. God blessed me with something big this year, even if it is a one time deal. It's only one episode, but I still get a shot at working in the industry on one of my favorite shows.
I can't share any more information about the opportunity But yeah, if I'm not active here over the break, starting tomorrow, it's not only because I went to L.A. for a week and a half, but because my mom and bro are coming over for Christmas and I will be doing some official work.
Thanks for the support, especially to my closest buddies, online and in real life.
*goes to pack*
Need a Christmas journal lolI had actually really hoped to make my own KICS themed Christmas journal, but sadly I did not have enough time to do so. So I shall result to a pretty Christmas one instead!
Soooo, updates. Honestly, nothing big has happened yet since I returned from California, other than five lightbulbs going out, grocery shopping and loads of cleaning to do before Mom and lil bro get here on Monday. I haven't done loads of drawing since last week either for reasons that have been explained, but I'm kinda okay with it. It sort of rests up my wrists before I need to do the serious stuff And considering how much I overworked them this semester in animation, I'm happy for the wee break!
I passed this semester with a GPA of 3.4, so I'm pretty happy with that. There were so many places where I could have improved, but since my instructors never let us know our marks before the deadline, there was no way we were able to rework things to get a better mark. I DID get a B- in the academic class
Devious Journal EntryFalling Stars will shine so bright
When the world is still at night
Moon will fade and Sun will die
When we come when dreams are high
Into Darkness all will fall
From planets great to seeds so small
Nightingale will cease its song
When evil wins it will be strong
But where there's night there is day
Where there's a will there's a way
Where darkness is there's always light
Given the chance it will shine bright
Hope may be so frail and shy
But as long as there's good it will never die,
So follow your dreams and look to the sky
For that is where I shall be when dreams are high
Yes, follow your dreams and look to the sky
For that is where I shall be when dreams are high

Devious Journal EntryWatched HTTYD yesterday on my new bluray player. My gosh, i love the animation on Toothless, he's like a big kitty cat!
Again, I'm asking for patience on commissions, buds. I have not forgotten you, I swear! I am not posting or even drawing very much at the moment for very important reasons. Nu, I am not in a rut XD In fact, I have a particularly special pic I want to do for Valentine's Day next month. That is, if school doesn't push my time down to zilch.
Called Student Loans yesterday and they said I've got another two weeks to wait for my application to go through. That could be a problem, considering I need to have my tuition PAID by then. So I'm going to have to ask the school if I can extend the deadline again.
On a side note, my lil bro said that if I could get Mario Kart wii, I could play with him online. It was fun playing with him when he came over. We also played a few hours of Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension, and my gosh, did we la
omgomgomgomgDANANDSWAMPYomgomgomgI went up and asked a question.
I was the one with the red beret. I asked if there was anything that had been particularly difficult about the show's production.
I gave them a picture. THIS picture...
Dan loved it. He freakin loved it.
Vincent (Phineas) loved it
Alyson (Isabella) loved it
Swampy loved it
Dan said he'd put it in his office.
.... ok. no more updates until I get back home on Monday. i will make a birthday journal then too, promise. and will sum up my weekend at Comic Con
feature animations journal :3So yeah, for some reason it was bugging me, I dunno why. Maybe being an animation student does it Either way, Imma write another journal X3
This may be for my personal use, considering it's my own opinion that I've shared with friends at school. Imma put down a three of my favorite animation films since that's already loads for a journal (and I mean fully animated films, so any of the newer AATC movies or Rocky and Bullwinkle don't count) and just put what I liked/loved about them and what I did not. Ratatouille will not be part of the list since I'm still trying to find something about it that I don't love.
Since I just saw it 8 times before it came out of theatres (three or four times bootleg version), why not start with that?
Liked: The animation was phenomenal. I will not deny that I wigged out whenever Once-Ler did something because he was just like a walking animation suitcase. I will keep using him as reference in the future as well. And the

After three years of owning the DVD...I finally watched the Squeakuel.
It was a great film, I loved the animation (still kinda like the original chipmunks better but that's because I grew up with those)
But what I REALLY enjoyed about the film was that they kept the boys in character this time. Alvin and Simon were just.... holy cow, perfect. In the first movie, they had like, one fight, and Simon rolled his eyes like, twice, but in this movie I was just squeeing. The brotherly relationship they had, and Theodore being the baby bro that wants everyone to get along... My heart went out to him when his nightmare of his family breaking up was coming true.
That was the highlight, to be honest. Not even the animation. Just the sheer joy of seeing that the Seville brothers actually acted like the ones I grew up loving.
Anyway, aside from that, I'm gonna try to get a commission done once a week, as well as a comic page, so that I can open them up again fast. I can't promise anything, and the traditional art ones will be sh

The Top 12 Worst PnF Fanworks Cliches~~~
The Top 12 Worst P&F Fanworks Cliches
Creep: Hello, I'm the CreepECrawlyMan..I bitch about it, so you don't read it. =3
Erik: I'm Erik...I have no idea why I am here. Why am I tied up?
Creep: Don't make me live up to my name, Erik. I honestly thought it would be fun if we picked about the overused cliches in most P&F fanworks. While maybe...a small minority in this fandom are actually good stories and characters developed by good artists and writers who give a shit....these are the commonly overused ideas that has been done to death over and over and over again. Some of them are in fact mistakes that people seem to keep making to the point where originality is....rare basically. And so, with very light commentary from Erik apparently, I'm gonna chalk up The Top 11 Worst P&F Fanwork Cliches. =3 Why top 12? Because 12 is my favorite number!
Erik: Don't delete my comment, you wanted to steal from the Nostalgia Critic.....> Real nice; I have to resort to SEX FICS ju
ErmUh, whose bright idea was it to have Anna and Elsa be Jackunzel kids? People, are you seriosuly messing with these beautiful characters before their movie even comes out? C'mon guys...
Listen, I hate Jackunzel, but I if you ship it, that's fine by me. However, if you want to make kids for your OTP, what's wrong with just creating an OC? There's no point in taking an existing character and destroying their family structure just because "they kinda look alike."
Anna and Elsa look like Rapunzel because they were made by the same movie company. But even then, the two storylines take place in completely different settings. Just because they look alike and were made by the same company doesn't mean they have anything to do with each other. And as for Jack and Elsa, dudes, who cares if two companies both have characters who can create snow? It's not like it hasn't been done before. :/
I'll gladly take the new JackxAnna or Ja
~.Journal Feature.~ Inspiration and Discovery!Yep ^^ Just as promised.
For awhile, I've been wanting to do this. So many people, my watchers especially, are growing in their talents, are hungry for improvement, and just love to be inspired by other people's amazing art. Many of you are undiscovered; others are working to be noticed, and others are simply lovers or connoisseurs of art, no matter the type.
Today I'm going to feature a good number of the works of my amazing, amazing watchers If you see pieces you like, go give the artist a shout, fave and a comment or two! And, if you'd like to offer them some advice or critique, go ahead and give it to them. Everyone always has room for improvement! (And a premium membership isn't necessary to give someone advice!)
Now keep this in mind, friends. Everyone has varying levels of skill, different interests, and different styles. Judge the pictures not just by quality, but by the idea, the vision, and the story behind the following deviations. Look at both the original art
InspirationTo every single person out there who's striving to become better or the best at something...
When you see other people's progress in your field of expertise or doing the same things you like to do, and they're BETTER than you at it...
Don't ever think you can't be as good as they are. You can and you will be, if you strive to do so.
In us artists' case, it's a manner of who's better at what style and what kinds of techniques. Don't go telling yourself, "I'll never be as good as they are" or "You're so much better than me, I'll never be that good." Do you understand how much that can destroy your confidence?
Everyone learns at different rates and some people take longer to do things than other people. Not everyone possesses the same strengths or capabilities. Some people, in the case of art, don't get into it until late in their lives. Some people are better than you, even if you're the same age, simply because they've had more experience. Doesn't mean they're going to overshadow you in
Phineas and Ferb: Season 3 (Review)Phineas & Ferb: 3rd Season (Review)
Creep: Hello, hello again friends! =3 Sorry to dump all this reviewing junk on you guys, but frankly I don't care. Besides, we're reviewing real life stuff as opposed to shitty OCs and crappy fanfictions that bastardize the show we love.
Erik: I think CreepE and I have different views on Season 3, but we do agree on one thing...it's underrated.
Creep: Indeed. For some reason, this is the season where people suddenly seem to jump ship and move on to different fandoms. Not just because of the crazy fans or the introduction to an equally awesome show (Gravity Falls), but people think this is where P&F lose its magic, its wonder and its originality. To be fair, it's not perfect, but it's not the worst season.
Erik: It's not bad, but I can see where it loses it wonder and magic....
Creep: Me too; besides, it's nowhere NEAR as betrayal-worthy as....let's say SpongeBob or Family Guy...it's still pretty good.
Erik: The thing I notice is that the wor

Mission Wedding Impossible Review (updated)Mission Wedding Impossible Review by RedJoey1992
Ever since the debut of Phineas and Ferb, it became a worldwide sensation all around the world and for the most part people liked it. It spawned off merchandises, a TV movie, a Broadway show, a Two-Part Cliffhanger coming this year, and now a upcoming theatrical live-action/aniamted feature film is in the works and is going to be released next year. I just hope it's really good.
Now, before I go crazy, I love Phineas and Ferb. Who doesn't it's like the best thing on Disney right now. I love it because of it's likable characters, irresistably catchy songs, and it's great celebrity guest stars. But when it comes to it's fans, they are both the strengths and weaknesses of the franchise's fanbase. But also when it comes to the fanfiction, they do sometimes be loyal to the show's formula. Hey that's why l enjoyed the show.
The fanfic, or fancomic I'm reviewing is said it was exactly that the writer took "2 years of hard work". B
