Need a Christmas journal lolI had actually really hoped to make my own KICS themed Christmas journal, but sadly I did not have enough time to do so.

So I shall result to a pretty Christmas one instead!

Soooo, updates. Honestly, nothing big has happened yet since I returned from California, other than five lightbulbs going out, grocery shopping and loads of cleaning to do before Mom and lil bro get here on Monday. I haven't done loads of drawing since last week either for reasons that have been explained, but I'm kinda okay with it. It sort of rests up my wrists before I need to do the serious stuff

And considering how much I overworked them this semester in animation, I'm happy for the wee break!
I passed this semester with a GPA of 3.4, so I'm pretty happy with that. There were so many places where I could have improved, but since my instructors never let us know our marks before the deadline, there was no way we were able to rework things to get a better mark. I DID get a B- in the academic class

COMIC CONThursday Edit: So I saw loads of stuff today, bought an official LOTR Fellowship Broach squee!!!! and I saw Mark Hemill. Anyone who is my age or of my generation and has seen the original Star WArs trilogy will know who he is XD
Also, on the train back home, I sat with two guys and we spoke about all sorts of stuff, mostly old cartoons from the 60s to 90s. The old Batman and Spiderman were two, SONIC UNDERGROUND if anyone remembers that xDD AND... We even spoke about Rocky and Bullwinkle And a tad bit of PnF.
I love meeting people who are mature enough to have a casual conversation about things like these (including video games!) and not freak out if you like or not like a certain show. I love PnF, tho I stopped watching the episodes (I mean come on... they really kinda got progressively worse in th third season, tho there are a few stragglers). I can't stand the Fandom no more either, but no matter. I still love the characters and especially their creators.

Train Ride: doneFirst time I took a train from Vancouver, Canada to Irvine, California. forty one hours or so, baby XD Although I could never sleep more than an hour at a time before waking up, it was loads of fun. Even without wifi. I got some stuff done and commissions sketched out.
Got a bit of a worrisome notice on tumblr but you know what; I'm through letting those things get me down.

After all the responses I got on my last journal, I think I'm finally understanding what it means to have one hundred fans for one hater. And to be honest, I really wouldn't have gotten this far in anything had I not had so much belief and support from you guys and my friends and family.
Tonight, I shall sleep in a bed, and Monday, :iconshieldmaiden5678: wanted to take me to Disneyland, so I know how my week here will kick off! I'm pretty sure I will either be wearing my purple Perry shirt or else my dark grey/black Doof shirt (they need a phineas shirt for adults :/)

I will try to repost Book One of The Seer this Christmas before school begins again.
I can't promise anything since I have a better way of posting it on dA now, hopefully keeping people from reposting it on other websites, but Dan Povenmire himself encouraged me to put it back up. He said some really encouraging words to me, and while he said he was not allowed to read it, he did enjoy the art I had posted.
So the story will go back up, PnF and all, within time. There will not be a sequel written for it, unfortunately, and I still want it to become an Imagination Jumpstart story eventually, but with Dan backing me up to a certain degree, that and I really do love the story, I will repost it for those who have enjoyed it so far.
And maybe even post a new contest.

about last poll...Seeing all the fuss about the contest I got really nervous about being able to submit anything. Apparently, it takes a minimum of one month to be accepted to post films on dA, and then I saw loads of people comment saying that they had been waiting for six months. I got super worried I would be doing work for no reason.
Which was why I posted that poll in the hopes of getting some help.
But I just logged on to check, after talking with my animation tech at school, and lo and behold, I got accepted.

So the other poll has been deleted (I should really stop freaking out about things at one in the morning -u-)
Thank you for those who left helpful comments though. The ones about Flash unfortunately would not work because the contest was not accepting flash submissions. That was why I was worried I could not enter.

I've been in love with her art for a long time now, even though I've had no idea that she had a deviantart.
She has a brain tumor and can't afford the medical treatments any longer. I wish I wasn't a student, I'd give her everything right about now. In fact, I probably will donate a little something when I get more money this month.

I really want to thank everyone who left incredibly encouraging comments on this picture. Seriously, it made my night, brought tears to my eyes.

I have had trolls in the past, but like so many people have told me, haters gonna hate, and for every person who trolls there are ten who care. Even the people who don't enjoy the same cartoons or films as I do. I've got plenty of friends who watch things I could never dare to watch, yet they've been the biggest supporters I could ask for.

God has blessed me with so much these past two years while studying animation. And even after the horrible start of a summer I had with haters and frantic watchers I've made it thus far with so many people backing me up, even people I have never met IRL. It's so heartwarming to know that people support me no matter what.

And like one blessed soul left in a comment on that picture above, while all the encouragement I get helps boost me, it is I who has the final word. If I can give myself the confidence and encouragement others give me, then I can make it far.

I really hope I can keep it up

So yeah. I wanted to thank everyone who left beautiful comments under that photo. It seriously means the world to me. I love you all
