How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

I finally watched the Squeakuel.

It was a great film, I loved the animation (still kinda like the original chipmunks better but that's because I grew up with those)

But what I REALLY enjoyed about the film was that they kept the boys in character this time. Alvin and Simon were just.... holy cow, perfect. In the first movie, they had like, one fight, and Simon rolled his eyes like, twice, but in this movie I was just squeeing. The brotherly relationship they had, and Theodore being the baby bro that wants everyone to get along... My heart went out to him when his nightmare of his family breaking up was coming true.

That was the highlight, to be honest. Not even the animation. Just the sheer joy of seeing that the Seville brothers actually acted like the ones I grew up loving.

Anyway, aside from that, I'm gonna try to get a commission done once a week, as well as a comic page, so that I can open them up again fast. I can't promise anything, and the traditional art ones will be shipped out by Christmas since I'm kinda low on cash atm. But I will try to, between homework and whatnot, get one done once a week.

As well as doodle for myself on the side <3 I have returned to the Chipmunk fandom... though I'm trying to mix it up a bit. Probably by the end of this week, I won't be doing too much digital art that's not homework or commish.

Anywho, off to doodle <3

I personally didn't really enjoy them as much as the boys, nevermind they kinda weren't the focus of the movie.

I can't say much about them since they didn't really show up very much or interact very much with the boys, save Eleanore. She's so far my favorite.

I totally agree with you about the Squeakuel. I think it was the best of the live action movies. And Alvin and Simon were my favorite part, it was really missed in the first movie.

Yeah, I was too. Though I will admit, it was better than most live action cartoon adaptions I've seen. The second one felt more like the actual cartoon series, which made it better.

The first one and the second ones were the only ones I enjoyed out of the new trilogy. Never watched the third, but I cringed so much during the trailer I don't plan on it. Besides what you mentioned, I loved that Zachary Levi was in the Squeakquel! I'll never tire of seeing him or hearing his voice

I still want to see the third because the reason I put off the second for three years was because I thought it would be horrible. But it turned out to be my favorite. Though I wish there was more of Dave X3
