"I'm not telling you not to grieve Simon. It's hard waking up to a reality like yours. All I'm saying is don't let it control you. You're supposed to be the smart one, remember? You always had things under control, even when I messed everything up.
"If you need time alone, then we'll leave you alone. But don't make this last forever. Not only are you letting this get the better of you, but you're forgetting something: you still have a six-year-old to take care of. AJ's not going to raise himself, you know.
"I'm just the troublemaker. I'm just the cop who brought you the bad news. But I'm also your brother, and despite constantly arguing or saying that I don't give a hoot about you, I'm beginning to worry. Please don't let this get the better of you... that's not the Simon I grew up with."
Alvin and Simon became best friends in my series because they made such a great team despite arguing constantly. Alvin did mature as he grew older, and while he still did enjoy causing trouble now and again and arguing with Simon, he did care a lot about his well-being. He was the one who made sure his brother took his medication during his depression. He practically monitored him every moment he was at home, just to make sure he didn't do anything drastic.
Kinda upset atm, considering it's thanksgiving and Mom and Dad said they'd call on skype. Mom called nearly four hours earlier to say that we'll wait until dad got back from the city with my brother to chat. But it's time for me to head out to see a movie and I didn't even get to freakin say hi to people I only see once a year now. That kinda brought my mood down.
Hopefully the movie will bring it back up.
Yeah. Sketched something sad before going. Happy Thanksgiving, peeps
