During their last adventure, Alvin's strength, gift-wise and physical, were put to the test so many times it took a toll on him afterwards. He was sick for two months following, where he underwent great fatigue, blackouts and the inability to concentrate. He blacked out during rehearsal and Acorn told his brothers that it had to do with the fact that he overdid himself during the Final Judgement. Alvin nearly lost his life about three times in that adventure and pushed himself over the limit to protect his family and Acorn that it began to affect him physically. Simon and Theodore had to cancel any concert preperations for the next four months so that Alvin could rest and Alvin had to take an extended leave of absence from both of his jobs.
He would sleep for full days on end if needed, but only to feel like he had an hour or less of sleep. Eventually, the blackouts began to recede and he was back to his old self in a few months, but for the rest of his life he still had rare yet random strength drainage and blackouts, though thankfully not during any concerts or races.
One thing he found as an advantage through this though was that he was able to bond better with his now returned wife, his sister-in-law and of course, the baby Eleanor eventually gave birth to. Although it frustrated him not to be able to sing a full song without blacking out, he relished the idea of staying home and thinking of nothing.
okeh, I'm dun. Gonna try and get more stuff dun so that I can clear my plate for next week. I've got a feeling the workload will be huge starting next Friday.
