Dave: Would you believe me if I told you that I'm actually glad Alvin can open time portals and you can take them off of my hands for a week or two? Spike: Doesn't surprise me at all, actually. Dave: Does that make me a bad parent? Spike: Absolutely not. I've seen worse. Dave: Worse than triplets with superpowers?! Spike: Just trust me, Dave; I've seen worse. ____________________________________
Nothing special, just being lazy with stuff.
The beginning of the third story I had in mind for them way back in 2008 began this way. Spike went to visit the Sevilles and then take the boys back with him for two weeks (Dave was going on a business trip anyway), and Dave begged him to find a way to control them before their mother came over for a bit. He said they had been creating chaos all morning long, and it was driving him insane.
Basically, when they got into the boys' bedroom, the chipmunks were using their gifts to control each other's actions. It started with Simon attempting to help Alvin with some summer homework, which eventually broke into an argument and then a "fist fight." Simon attempted to toss things at Alvin with his gift but Alvin pulled up a shield. Si used Theodore's teddy bear as amo and a potted flower of his. Alvin fought over the bear. Theodore got upset that his things were being used and so attempted to teach his brothers a lesson by tying them up, and thus ending up in a whirlwind of chaos.
Luckily for them, Spike knew how to fix those types of problems X3
That story focused on the friendship between Alvin and Simon actually. It had something to do with the Solarian Scar Simon had acquired a few months earlier.
Glows are dumb, but I really just wanted to draw a triangle of rivalry. This is what it was like in the Seville Household before the boys learned how to fully tame their gifts and not allow their anger to fuel them.
