There's a story I want to write but doubt I'll have the chance to. It's just about PJ getting really sick and how Tony and Jazz make him feel better about being the only Flynn with a weak immune system and allergies and whatnot.

Then...maybe I can do a story based on this? If it's ok with you that is....if yes, I'll just need details on the plot then I'll do my best to make it as good as possible :) and of course, the credits' all yours (and Kiki-Kit's ) :)

Oh, PJ... I can relate. If the zombie apocalypse happens, I'll die of an asthma/allergy attack long before the zombies get me. : /  Beautiful job on this. It still astounds me how you can put so much emotion into just a few lines and colors!

Well, they're Phineas' kids, not to mention Isabella's; it's probably in their genes to help and support each other whenever possible.

These are Phineas's sons. Unless the PnF team at Disney came up with an episode that's aired with the boys grownup with kids that we know of, I though it was a given that 2nd generation kids are not canon.

Haven't watched the show for a looooooooooong time not sure if these were Phineas' brothers and they were previously living with his dad or something.

What? They never mentioned anything about Phineas even having a biological dad. Dan and Swampy deemed it unnecessary. And the only brother Phineas has is Ferb.

Every time I see stories set in the future, it always amuses yet saddens me that things like asthma, weak immune systems, and heart issues still exist as prominently as they do nowadays. What so few people know about are the advancements medical science is making that make these chronic conditions or weaknesses almost a thing of the past...

I'll save my science rant for another time, this is adorable. Brotherly love is still a beautiful form of love. :)

But books and comics from back then had also said that by this time and age, we'd be flying in cars. I don'T believe that we'll ever be advanced enough to cure any illnesses completely. Your comment almost sounds as though I am unaware of the advancements in medical science. I just think it's absolutely silly if people think that a cure like that would be so easily acquired by an average person. Even if it did exist, or does now, only the rich would be able to afford it.

That and a cure for asthma does not exist. They can come close to it, but it can't be cured. It's a condition, not an illness.

Since I place elements in my stories that people of TODAY can relate to, very much in the same manner that Osamu Tezuka did with his works, illnesses still exist in the future.

This is peer-reviewed, by the way, so professional scientific communities can confirm the validity of this research. It's not a cure, per se, of course, but if you want more info, go to www.abcliveit.com and watch the 2005 ABC Primetime Investigative Report. There's also links to scientific resources on the site, like to article links on PubMed.gov and the American Heart Association. Believe me, this is not something for the rich or of fiction.

I've followed your stuff for awhile, Ash, and you recognize my username. I wouldn't compromise your respect after what you did for my girlfriend a year ago, nor would I share this with you if I didn't think it would be useful. I know you're busy, but at least check out ABC Live It. If you have any questions, my inbox is always open. Rock on and God bless!

Is this information honestly necessary? These are fictional characters in a fictional setting, not everything is going to be spot on. As Ash stated before, we are simply trying to make the characters relatable to people of the present moment, as well as making the character more human. How can you relate to a character who lives in a world where conditions and disease are a thing of the past? You can't deny the fact that conditions like these can still be a problem in the future, whether its just as widespread or more seclusive, it can still happen.

To top this, both me and Ash have family with asthma, allergies, and weak immune systems, and neither of us believe that this is going to be something that will be "curred" as you say it can be. Unless you're some sort of psychic, people can not predict what will happen in the future, they can hope, and they can get pretty close, but they can never be precise. Whose to say that problems won't arise between here and then, stunting the amount of time that medicines like those will reach the public.

And as I said, is this really necessary? How many people do you think are going to know about information like this? Not that many. The future is something of the imagination that can't be planned out yet, no one can say how things will happen, so why bother us on something that isn't set in stone. You can believe what you wish about the future, and we will believe in what we wish, but I don't think anyone has the ability to correct someone on something that hasn't happened yet.

We all have family with at least one our two chronic conditions, so I know what it feels like to see them battle things out so long and so hard with little hope of relief. All I was saying was that while there may never be a definite cure for any of these, there is a powerful answer for relieving them in the very bodies God gave us, instead of trying to add anything to them that wasn't already there.

I know the end fate of the world isn't a pretty one, as stated in Revelation, and I used to have a pretty grim view of things overall until my girlfriend reminded me that while the bad gets worse or stays the same, the good is getting better. That, and just like the message of God's Word, I feel it only right to spread good news of other things to those who need it the most. Message me, if you could. You have no idea of the world that has opened up in the past few years alone.

I'm not saying there isn't any hope, I do believe that people will find a way someday to make these things a reality and truly make problems like these a thing of the past, I'm just saying that in our story that hasn't happened yet. Once again, these are fictional characters in a fictional setting.

And please, I would appreciate it if you don't bring religion into the conversation, I'm not a very religious person.

Please don't treat me like I'm ignorant, I am perfectly aware of what I need to know of, so, I'm going to ask this again, is this really necessary? These characters don't exist, and these aren't real events everything about these characters is FAKE. I believe we have the right to dabble around with our fictional future to what we feel is best to fit our stories and characters. For all that matters to you, we could have made them live in a completely dystopian society. It is our story, and whether we're right or wrong about what will happen, is completely up to us and us alone.

I do have hope for the future, and I do believe things will get better, but like we've said, we're trying to connect to people of the present moment who have to deal with problems like these. Don't get me wrong, our stories do still have elements pertaining to the future, it's just more personal matters like these we are keeping as a connection to now. If it does so happen that we are, in fact, wrong about the future our characters live in, then so be it, we're wrong, but for now, neither of us are wrong, and neither of us are right. You can believe in what you wish about the future, and we will believe in what we wish.

I added the element of faith in there because Ash is a Christian like me (she's Catholic, specifically). And I dunno, reading stories with such positive and promising characters to all of a sudden have them in a future that is no better than what we have now (technologically, socially, etc.), let alone 30 or so years from now, kinda bothers me. That's just a personal nitpick, if anything, so it's nothing personal. Terminator is one thing - a Phineas and Ferb future that hasn't overcome certain things is another. I'll save the arguing for another time, but just know I didn't mean to insult or criticize her as an artist or as a person, and I apologize for coming off like that. I just saw an opportunity to show her something worthwhile in the hopes she'd at least respond. I sincerely apologize if I somehow dragged you or others into the mix.

You do realize that the only reason why I'm arguing the matter with you is because PJ and Tony are also mine, right? And yes, I know that Ash is Catholic, and yes, i know that was aimed towards Ash, but at that time you were talking with me, and even then, Ash still thinks that its rather inappropriate to being faith into an argument that doesn't require it.
And as i've said, this is a future that me and Ash came up with, and it is ours alone, if it bothers you then too bad, but its not your right to try and correct us. While what you showed us was interesting, it still doesn't change the matter that it was unnecessary. I have plenty of little peeves that bother me in stories and settings, but that's all they are, peeves, they're my own personal problem with it and it is not really a thing that needs to be known by the creator because its not a real big problem. Whether the peeve makes or breaks me liking the story is my own problem.

Kind of random, but it makes me think of butterflies. Because they're so small, delicate, easily harmed, and can't generally stand up for them selves. But at the same time, they're graceful, beautiful feats of nature that only rarely come out on the sunniest of days.

That has always been how I look at people like that in stories. They're different, but that's what makes them special.

I'll bet it is homemade; probably bulletproof too since Phineas WOULD be the world's most overprotective dad.
I don't have asthma myself but I did have a freaky experience in 3rd grade where a classmate had an attack and another classmate (who ended up going into nursing interestingly) helped him get his breathing under control and then chewed him out for not bringing his inhaler to school; weirdly neither of them remembered that years later.

I remember having to send someone to get my inhaler because I couldn't breathe.  I was swimming and it was summer, so I'm all like "I'm fine" and then next thing you know I'm dragging myself out of the pool coughing struggling to tell one of my cabin mates to run to the room and grab my inhaler cause I didn't bring it with me.

And it would be bulletproof.  XD  Phineas would probably be the first one to make flexible bulletproof clothes so his kids would be safe.  *^_^*

And Buford would totally tease him about it...but get some for his own kids anyway. Baljeet, Ferb and Isabella would be completely on-board from the start though.
