I forgot I had scanned this a while back.
I want people to know that I'm not all about fanart. A lot of people out there think that I am, and because of their pushy comments I get even more uncomfortable about posting my own works. I'm relatively shy when it comes to showing my OCs, mostly because I got bullied through school about issues such as these. I've been insecure with my original art for years. When people pressure me to post more OCs, I get defensive. It's something I'm trying to break, but it's not easy. Especially when artists I don't know criticize me for it.
I'm doing it at my own rate. And Coco is a good way to start. He liked to leap in high school, sometimes over everyone's heads. His excitement intimidated his bros sometimes.
That thar is Mr. Stork. Another one of my OCs since I was 16. I gave him swords in a story back in highschool.... ages before KFP came out. And the golden retriever in the back is Brutus "Brue" Retriever, Coco's best friend.
Might color. Not too sure anymore.

There's nothing to be ashamed about with OC's--heck, that's what imagination is for, isn't it? Giving life to ideas and characters and stories that are none other than your own? Anyone who disagrees with that or criticizes creative character development is just a stick in the mud. Your characters and you are amazing, and you should never be afraid to share the gift of creativity God has given you. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
