Autumn Family

Finished this yesterday. Different watercolor paper than the Alvin pics, and I did it rushed, but eh, still turned out nice.

For those who don't know, the chipette in the middle holding baby AJ is Vinny Chipmunk, Alvin, Simon and Theodore's birth mother from the series. When she became a grandmother her sons were constant visitors with their children due to the fact that Vinny was not big on traveling to cities. That and she was advancing in years, so to make it easier on her the boys came to see her than the other way around. I always assumed she was a few years older than Dave

And for those who don't know, Vinny gave up her boys due to the harsh winter the year they were born. They were not strong enough to make the journey South, so she left them in the hands of a kind human who lived on the borders of the forest at the time. When she came to get them the following spring, she saw how happy they were together and decided to let them be.
