WtP: Lost Treasures ConclusionFor the remainder of the day, the Hundred Acre Wood was filled with laughter and cries of joy. It was the happiest the forest had been in a little over a decade. There was storytelling and singing, honey eating and swimming. Tigger and Roo took it upon themselves to teach Kris everything he had to know about their home, including how to bounce.

WtP: Lost Treasures chp25Pooh raised his eyebrows in shock at the sound of the voice. Without wondering whose it was, he snatched his head up and looked to see who had grabbed his paw.

The Strange Man was holding him with both hands, hanging over the ledge which had faded back into view as if by magic. As he smiled warmly, the trees and the sky behind him faded into view and the world Pooh knew came back to life.

"I've got you," the man repeated in a gentle tone.

Pooh stared at him in silent wonder, wondering why his voice seemed familiar again and why the Strange Man had bothered to come back. But then a twinkle in his brown eyes caught Pooh's attention, and then

And there's Astro Boy!

Kay, I tried drawing him with the five eyelashes, but it just made him look weird the way I do it. So I dumped the eyelashes, as you can see.

I also used the boot design from the upcoming Astro Boy movie in october.

Not much to say about him. He doesn't really change in my fanfics, except that he doesn't have eyelashes. Before Dr. Tenma makes his appearance in the stories, Astro's very sensitive on the whole subject of being his creation.

My fanfics sorta follow the 2003 series but without all the "Dr. Tenma's the big bad guy." A bit after he met his friends, Astro explained to them briefly that his creator was Dr. Tenma, but he didn't go into depth because it hurt his feelings. He was also worried in the beginning that it was his fault that he couldn't grow, that Dr. Tenma had thrown him out.

Dr. Tenma does send out random robots to "attack" Astro, but it was only to test his strength and to help him evolve. He never wanted to harm Astro or his friends in any way.

So technically, Astro doesn't change very much in my fanfics. And the only reason I sorta use some adventures from the 2003 series as reference in the fanfics is because it's the only series I remember in full. I only remember the 80s one by clips and I wasn't around when the 60s one came out. :XD:

Ah, that's too bad... There is hardly any good Astro Boy fanfictions out there and I bet yours would be great. Is there any chance at all that you may post them after you're finished with the others? If not, that is, of course all right. ^^
