WtP: Lost Treasures Chp 17An hour or two went by in silence at Rabbit's house. During that time, he, Tigger and Piglet sat by the fire, drowned in sadness as Pooh's cries continued. Rabbit had pulled out a book to read in his rocking chair, trying to block out the heartbreaking sound from the other room. Tigger had slid off of the sofa chair and was lying down on the carpet near the fire to keep warm. He attempted to sleep, but always flinched when he heard his friend in the bedroom sob. Piglet cuddled next to Tigger, trying to keep his own tears at bay. He did not like to hear his best friend cry when there was nothing he could do to help.

Pooh's sobs eventually die

Christopher stopped in his tracks and rolled his eyes in amusement before turning around and watching the clumsy bear attempt to climb the large rocks. The thirteen-year-old laughed while placing his hands on his hips. "I told you not to follow me, you Silly Old Bear," he said. "You always fall here, remember?"

Pooh groaned as he attempted to scramble up a rock. "No, I believe I do not remember that, Christopher," he said through a struggle. "In fact, I believe I do not remember ever climbing up here with you at all."

"Silly Old Bear."

"Yes, I know. I am silly, and I am old." Pooh
